Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
It is said that there are two sides to every story and this album is no exception. Experience Reed Between the Lines the way it was meant to heard: Side A and Side B. Now you can let your ears bask in those buttery Hi-Fi tones with your vinyl copy of Reed Between the Lines. Of course, these are the "vinyl edit" versions - due to the time constraints of an LP record, these wax cuts have been *slightly* altered from their original digital CD counterparts. But, hey, even though some sacrifices must be made to allow for unimpeded analog glory at 140 grams, you'll still hear and feel the essence of what it means to Reed Between the Lines!

Thanks to: Kait for your love and for encouraging me to record my own music, all of the wonderful musicians who helped bring these compositions to life, Bruce Forman for your selfless mentorship and killer guitar playing, Keith Munson for adding the sweet sweet sound of those EastWest echo chambers on “Present Tense”, my parents Anna, Brad, and Jeri for driving me to so many music lessons for so many years, my parents-in-law Jim & Nancy for your encouragement and support, my siblings for forcing me to listen to so many different styles of music as a kid, Grandma Nancy for giving me that first jazz album, Grandpa Jim for taking me out to hear live music back in the day, Matt Saladino for your lifelong friendship and for letting me play in your rock band when we were kids, John Von Ohlen, Art Gore, Marc Wolfley, Rusty Burge, Bill Platt, Jeff Hamilton, Aaron Sterling, Jay Bellerose, and Peter Erskine for your incredible mentorship and for leaving an indelible mark on my drumming and musicianship.
Jake Reed plays Gretsch drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, and Remo drumheads.
